• Loot Drops: Expect Champion-track gear from the end-of-dungeon chest: +2/+3 = iLvl 250 (Champion 2/6), +4 = iLvl 253 (Champion 3/6), +5 = iLvl 256 (Champion 4/6).
• The Vault: Completing these gets you Great Vault rewards: +2/+3 = iLvl 259 (Hero 1/6), +4/+5 = iLvl 263 (Hero 2/6).
• Why do it: It’s quick and cheap. Getting a Mythic boost in this range is also a good start when it comes to getting Twilight’s Blade Insignias and basic crests to upgrade your gear. It’s easy to do and gets your foot in the door for the Twilight Ascension event.

The Sweet Spot: +7 To +10 (Heroic Tier Performance)

At this point, the game gets a bit more serious with Mythic Dungeon boost. As of 2026, the +7 key is a big achievement because it brings the “Gilded” reward tier to the game, which is key to bringing your character to their full potential prior to the level 90 cap increase.

• Loot Drops: You’ll get Hero-track gear from the end-of-dungeon chest: +7 = iLvl 259 (Hero 1/6), +8/+9 = iLvl 263 (Hero 2/6), +10 = iLvl 266 (Hero 3/6).
• The Vault: Your weekly chest will give you Great Vault rewards: +7/+9 = iLvl 269 (Hero 4/6), +10 (and higher) = iLvl 272 (Myth 1/6).
• Why should you fully upgrade your gear? This way, you will get the most value out of your gold. Also, getting +10s and above gives you access to Keystone Hero rewards, which include the really good teleport items for dungeons. Dungeon portals are unlocked per dungeon by completing that dungeon at Mythic+10 (or higher) within the timer, granting an account-wide teleport. • Why should you do this? Getting a m+ boost at this level is about just gear; it’s about the title “the Umbral” and social status. With a 2500+ rating when the Silvermoon is fully rebuilt on March 2, you will be the most popular person in the game, and everyone will want you in their group.

The “Prestige” Push: +20 And Keystone Legend

In 2026, the Keystone Legend chasing will begin. This will be the most exclusive title you can gain until the expansion reset. You will join the top 0.1% of players.

• Keystone Legend (3000 Rating): You will gain the Convalescent Carrion, a mount that few will possess and that will mark you as one of the elite.
• Why do it? You gain account-wide supremacy. Some seasons include a “no key depletion below +12” achievement reward; if Midnight Season 1 has it, it would be tied to a specific seasonal achievement, not automatically to every high-rating push. That means you will always have access to high-tier loot.

Pro-Tip: Bundle Your Runs
